Fix Missing Favicon in Blogger

One day, I noticed that the favicon for my Blogger blogs suddenly reverted to the default "B" icon. After doing a bit of research, I found out the reason for this.

Apparently, this bit of code was already added to the 'all-head-content' includable of Blogger:

<link href='http://www.blogger.com/favicon.ico' rel='icon' type='image/vnd.microsoft.icon'/>

So, if you want your own favicon (favorite icon) to show up instead of the Blogger icon, you have to do the following steps:

*Don't forget to back up your template BEFORE attempting to make changes to it.

1. Login to you Blogger account and then go to Dashboard -> Layout -> Edit HTML

2. Find (Ctrl-F) and Cut (Ctrl-X) the line of code referring to your customized favicon. This is how the code may look like:

3. Find (Ctrl-F) the closing head tag of your template:

</head>

4. Paste (Ctrl-V) the line from #2 just BEFORE the closing head tag

5. Save the template and view your blog. You should be able to immediately see your own favicon instead of the default Blogger icon (when using Firefox).

Note: By adding this line at the end of the head section assures you that your favicon 'overwrites' whatever Blogger has set in the includable content.

These are called paid-to-click sites. Every 24 hours (or 12 hours in some) a list ads will be shown. When the link is clicked, another window will open to display the ad. A timer will also start. The window must stay open until the timer is finished for the ad to be valid. Each ad clicked and viewed has a corresponding cash value.

Some of these sites also have paid-to-read-email offers. An email is sent with a link to an ad. When this is clicked, a window is open and a timer also starts.

Earnings are accumulated and can be withdrawn when a certain amount is reached. This is often referred to as minimum payout. Minimum payout varies per site.
